In an exciting partnership, all tickets grant free access to Ormesby Hall, including the surrounding grounds and gardens.
Ormesby Hall is a stunning Georgian Mansion, preserved by the National Trust. Rich in history and set within over 200 acres of greenery, festival-goers are invited to immerse themselves in the venue’s natural scenery while enjoying diverse offerings of live entertainment and family activities.
For over 350 years, Ormesby Hall served as the family home of the Pennyman family. From 1599 until 1961, when James Beaumont Pennyman’s will left the estate to the National trust, Ormesby Hall was the centre of generations of lives that spanned significant historical events of the 17th to 20th centuries.
Inside the manor, various architectural features offer glimpses into different periods of history:
- A Palladian Style Entrance Hall, built in the 1740’s
- The Library, once used as the ‘Breakfasting Room’ in the 18th century
- The Drawing Room, remodeled later as a dining room
- The Gallery, showcasing various family portraits
- The Ante Room, an 18th century music room
- North and South Bedrooms with magnificent views of the estate and gardens
The surrounding estate and gardens feature an oasis of woodlands, grasslands, streams, and other idyllic landscapes. Ormebsy Hall provides a beautiful setting for a weekend-long celebration of local talent, independent businesses, world cultures, and international cuisines.
